The price of staying the same pales in comparison to the gains that can be created by constantly changing with the times, following trends, and using the latest technology. This nugget is a great case study of what happened to a company that made a simple change to its website.  A change that many companies felt was not necessary at the time. This should inspire you to set some form of annual or quarterly calendar to make sure that you are forever using the latest in software and technology. At the speed at which clients are changing their purchasing and consuming habits, it is no longer optional.

And I was just reminded this week that we actually set an appointment at 6.35 in the morning a while back. And I said, OK. And they said at 6.29 in the morning, we were able to track that someone was on a mobile phone while driving in the car. They heard us announce the domain name, which was our website forward slash learn.

And on that page, there was just a quick sketch video and then a place to put your email. Or there’s a little symbol that represents a phone and from a phone, from a smartphone, if you click that, it direct dials a sales rep who’s actually awake and ready for the phone calls. Ah, they’re in another state.
