For explosive business growth motivation.
One of my favorite pastors once said, “You don’t rest from your work, You work from your rest.” He went on to explain that many of the greatest inventions throughout history claim to have been born during a period of stillness, vacation from work or even in a dream. At a young age, I took this message to heart and began scheduling regular “down-time” or “think-time” into my week.
That one short message changed my business career.
This short nugget is filled with a handful of short quotes or messages that had such an impact on me, I later chose to decorate my office with them, so all visitors could have the same opportunity of influence.
As Andrew Carnegie eloquently wrote late in life, “It was that tiny nugget of information I overheard at 23 that led to our empire”. Just hoping you may be moved by this cluster of tiny nuggets.

And what I was doing this weekend, I was kind of doing some house cleaning, and I found myself doing a deep dive into entrepreneurial quotes that I could put all over my office. There’s other people, there’s competitors, there’s yourself. Just a tremendous quote. The second one I’m going to put up says this, I don’t know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody.
(1:14 – 1:23)
That’s by Bill Cosby. Not that I’m a big fan of his. But the point is, I don’t know the key to success, but the key to failure is to try to please everybody.
(1:24 – 1:39)
So I don’t know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody. Next one. Entrepreneurship is living a few years of your life like most people won’t, so you can spend the rest of your life like most people can’t.
(1:40 – 1:53)
Let me say it again. Entrepreneurship is living a few years of your life like most people won’t, so you can spend the rest of your life like most people can’t. I’m going to summarize it this way.
(1:54 – 2:20)
Being an entrepreneur is the coolest, greatest,
