Take a Chance

$23.00

(0:00 – 1:02)

Are you a gambler? When’s the last time you took a chance on yourself? What is something you could do one time a month that would be so fun, so exhilarating, break down barriers, and really, really challenge your company? So I’ll give you an example, okay? Find your, I don’t want to call them kingpin, but who in your industry could just absolutely make your company if you had a relationship with them? Is it Jack Welch? Is it Oprah? Is it Tony Robbins? Usually every industry has two, three, or four people that are just such leaders and they’re national faces. They’re so leverageable that if you could get a relationship with them, they could really point you in the right direction. Well, what if one time a month, just for five minutes a month, you gambled on yourself and you attempted phone calls into those people? Not emails.

(1:03 – 2:03)

What if one time a month you even drove to their office to try to get them a coffee, see if you could get them to sit, but you say, oh my God, they’re so busy, they’re so busy and they probably have three security guards around them. I don’t care. So what? They probably do.

But here’s the question. What if they took your call? Could it change your life? Could it change your business? And I want you to truly, truly think about when is the last time you truly, truly took a chance on yourself? When is the last time you gambled big? When is the last time you did something that scared the pants off you, but you knew if you could pull it off, it may be the funnest day of your life, right? So here’s what’s cool about reaching out to these untouchable people. Guess what? They were all you at one point.

At one point in their life, Jack Welch was little Jack Welch. At one point in your life, Oprah was little Oprah. One point, Tony Robbins was little Tony.
